But before you jump inside the accelerating train. Make sure to read this article to get a good introduction and basics on what blogging really is. and how to make your blogging journey a success.

Define your target audience

Your audience is your boss. Without an audience, your blog will quickly fade into history. This is why I always start my introduction by stressing the importance of the target audience to your blog.

Your success will be defined by the quality of your audience. It is as simple as that. So make sure to define your target audience and understand your target market.

Marketing rule of 7

To engage and build trust with your audience as a blogger, you will need to introduce the marketing rule of 7.

It’s a very simple strategy that is the ground rule for any marketing campaign for any serious blogger or business out there.

Basically, a prospect, a potential client, or a reader needs to hear your message or read your blog posts at least 7 times before they’ll see you as an authority in the field to ever convert.

Seven times? you might ask. Seriously?

Yep, In other words, if you have a business and don’t have a blog or a vlog online. well, then you are missing a big chunk of targeted quality traffic and benefits.

Build trust with your audience

It’s official. If you’re a blogger, consider yourself lucky. You’re the third most trusted source of information to consumers, behind only friends and family.

I am sorry BBC, The New York Times, or Al Jazeera. But blogs are rated and viewed today as the third most trusted source for accurate and efficient information online. Hard to believe, maybe, but it’s true!

So, besides the fact that we humans enjoy reading blogs. The information we are reading, especially if it comes from authority blogs, is seen as relevant and accurate.

We trust and consume the information we read on our favorite authority bloggers. We kind of evolved to trust a human face more than a big corporate, brand, or logo. So use this to build strong trust with your audience by:

Give your audience a great first impression

The first impression is and will always be a deciding factor. Many studies have shown that visitors to a blog will decide whether they stay or leave within the first 7 seconds.

This is why the first 7 seconds are key to gain the trust of your visitors. With good user experience, structured sitemap, credible content, and of course a well-designed and professional look, your blog will deliver that credibility and reliability your visitors require to trust and consume your content or buy your products.

I mean if you look at the below examples. Which website would you trust?

The first website is called Slide Rule Universe and offers an old iframe type of design with strong black and red colors that highlight some important information about the site.

The ugliest website in the world

The second website is the Microsoft official website which provides a clean and sophisticated design with a well-eloborated user experience. Pick your choice!

Beautiful website

Get personal and active with your audience

Writing is an art! For bloggers, writing needs to be personal. It’s all about you talking with your readers. your blog posts need to address your target audience with the right tone of voice.

You get to be willing to be vulnerable, to get personal.

Honestly, just be yourself with your audience and make your content is casually and conversational written.

Whether you are on your blog’s comment section or your social media channels; be active and answer your audience when they post a comment or send an email. Being active on your social media channels will increase your audience’s trust towards you and your blog.

Truth be told, Getting personal and active with my audience; and adapting the right tone of voice, readability, SEO, and originality on my content have really helped me increase the audience and conversion rate to my clients. Blogs have been my winning strategy to deliver that massive popularity that later gets converted into substantial income through targeted leads.

By creating a constant online presence for my clients. I have been able to create that needed trust between a business and its target group or clients. Again, you might be wondering how my experience can benefit you. Well, smart reader, read on!

What is a blog, blogging and blogger?

Before jumping into the steps of how to build a successful blog and start making money blogging, let’s start by answering the very core question of what a blog really is and how it actually works.

I would also like to walk you through the basics of blogging to get a clear idea of blogging is really the dream that you want to pursue. It’s important to make sure this is something you really want, that you’re all in.

If you want to be a serious blogger, you’ve got to be invested, not just dreaming about it.

History of blogging

Now for a little history lesson. Don’t worry, it’s short.

The blog started as a journal or some kind of a personal website in which the author of the website could share their information, experiences, views, personal thoughts, and opinions on a variety of topics.

If we take a look at the history of blogging. The very first blog was named Justin’s Links and was created by Justin Hall, back in 1994.

Ancient history in terms of the internet! Hall was only 19 years old at that time and was a student at Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania. In 1997, Jorn Barger, best known as the editor of Robot Wisdom, which was an influential early weblog, introduced the term weblog to give a brief description of the process of logging the web as he traversed the internet.

weblog

However, the term “weblog” was modified and shortened to “blog” in 1999 by a programmer named Peter Merholz. He later unintentionally broke “weblog” into the phrase “we blog”. As time evolves, so does the definition of blogs and overall blogging.

How do blogs work?

As of now, the blog has adopted some impressive changes and is regularly updated on websites or an online portal.

Today’s blog is not just a static website; it has become an advanced way of keeping pace with technology. It can be used personally as well as professionally, with your business or your firm.

Benefits of niche blogging

A blog mainly consists of blog posts. A blog post is like an individual landing page or a text that provides information of a specific category and by a specific point of view on a certain topic or subject.

Usually, a blog treats unique subjects or topics the blog specializes in. The specific topic or subject the blog is treating is called in the blogging world a niche.

The word is of special importance as a blog would not be called a blog without a niche. I have come across many beginners who got confused about this word and how to find and use a niche in a blog.

Apart from good and quality content, a profitable and well-searched niche, a good-looking, personalized, and SEO optimized theme, a well-thought user experience process is also an essential part of the blog.

SEO benefits of blogging

Starting from the content of a blog. A good and SEO-optimized blog post is key to help your blog post rank in different search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

With a good ranked blog post, every time someone searches for that specific topic or subject your blog through that specific blog post will appear in the first page of the search engine. This leads to you starting to get that valuable organic traffic so many bloggers are desperately seeking.

A high ranking of your blog means a good amount of traffic reaches it organically. There is not a big difference between a blog and a website; it only matters when your website is very big: for example, an online store, a drop-shipping store, an educational content provider, or something similar.

A blog can typically be a section of your website that you update frequently by setting up and adding a new post on a daily or weekly basis. A blog can also be an entire and complete website.

If your only motive is to share knowledge, thoughts, views, or to start a discussion, a blog can be used to engage more with the audience and connect to like-minded people around you or anywhere in the world.

Basically, a blog can be whatever you want it to be. You’re in the driver’s seat, my friend!

Monetizing your blog

When your blog or website gets more popular and starts generating traffic on a daily or monthly basis, you can start making passive income from your blog.

For beginners, all you have to do is to start monetization of your blog through:

  • Affiliate marketing.
  • Advertisements such as Adsense, Mediavine, Media.net, PropellerAds, Infolinks, Monumetric, PopAds…
  • Email marketing.
  • Selling ebooks, courses, coaching services, or products.

Read my very detailed list of all the best advertising platforms available for bloggers.

Truth be told; advertising platforms and affiliate marketing are some of the greatest reasons why there is a tremendous increase in the number of bloggers blogging worldwide.

Monetization is not the only way to earn a passive income online from your blog. When your blog is gaining traffic and popularity; you can start earning the big bucks through professional advertising platforms, sponsorships, consulting, and many other ways.

Make money blogging: Read my step-by-step guide on how to make money blogging and the best affiliate programs for your blog.

Blogging has become a huge earning potential; there are several ways you can earn money by having your own blog. And who doesn’t love making money, especially if it takes little effort?

That’s what’s so great about passive income. It’s basic income that comes in that you don’t have to think about or work hard to get. You set up the initial ads or affiliate links, and you watch the money pour in from your traffic.

The difference between a blog, a website and a wiki

Sometimes people get confused between a blog, a website, and a wiki. They are similar, but there is a difference. If you are the one who also gets confused between a wiki, a website, and a blog, then let me spell it out for you:

The difference that exists between the concept of a website and a blog is that a blog is a website with dynamic content.

Dynamic Content is all that you generate, whether they are Videos, Articles, Audios, … that your potential client perceives of value concerning your product or service and that you periodically include on your Web Page.

Wiki is a collaborative and collective space where the audience or visitors can edit, share, and publish content.

Some examples that are worth checking out are Wikitravel, Wikihow, Wikibooks, and Wiktionary. On the other hand, a blog is what we discussed earlier: a dynamic website or page that a visitor comes across and can leave a comment and engage; however, they cannot publish, edit or modify any of the written content.

Benefits of blogging for your business

Blogging is highly beneficial for businesses that want to get a large amount of targeted or specific traffic and convert it into useful leads. A blog can also increase and establish the authority of the business in the industry.

If you have an online business, a digital store, or an e-commerce website, next you should start blogging about the benefits and promote your services or products available at your online or offline store and offer your visitors interesting discounts or coupons.

If a visitor directly visits your business page, your online store, or your e-commerce website, there is a good chance he or she bounces back without purchasing any item but instead checks out the collections at your store out of curiosity.

However, if a visitor visits your blog with good and detailed information together with useful tips related to the products you are selling or services you are providing. And get later forwarded to your online store or e-commerce website through an inbound link, then this will leave a different impact on your visitors; and most likely, they will end up purchasing as they have now been already educated about the product from your blog post.

Discounts, sales and offers

You can engage your audience with your products or services by adding a discount, sales, or offers for visitors arriving from your blog post. And who doesn’t love a sale? Chances are, after purchasing, they’re likely to return to your store another time because you provided them with useful content, trust, and a good user experience.

hosting offers

As you can see in the example above. This web hosting company provides up to 75% discount. Who wouldn’t want to take part in that promotion?

This is what we call in the marketing sphere; a well-worked customer journey: The new road to success!

Build a comprehensive blogging strategy

In fact, there are different uses of a blog. It depends on the business strategy you implement and the technology of blogging you use to make a good profit from your blog.

Like anything else, every platform has its advantages and disadvantages; it depends on people: how well they’re gonna use it or how well they’re gonna lose it.

So make sure to create a solid business strategy before you jump into blogging or do discuss your idea with an expert in the field of online business or blogging.

A blog can be useful for many reasons. Initially, the blog was just a portal for writing and sharing thoughts and facts online, but time has changed. The blog is now used for many reasons and goals.

If you have a business and want to reach more people through an online medium, well, a blog can be one of the best options. Or if you want to become an authority in your field, well, here again, a blog would be just the right strategy to opt for.

Of course, you will have to rank your blog and optimize your content with the right niche and segment using different strategies, such as SEO, inbound marketing, or search engine optimization to create high-quality backlinks, etc…

If you have good knowledge of any subject, service, or skill and want to share it online, blogging is by far the best option.

Remember, sharing information properly online leads to increased traffic to your website or blog, and gaining more audience can just as easily make you an expert or an authority in that certain field or subject.

The blog is also very useful for those who are in the field of email marketing.

If your blog is popular, then you can make people subscribe to your blog to get your latest feeds, posts, and updates, getting your readers to provide you with their emails creates some sort of trust which can later convert into a profitable business.

Be careful to never share your follower’s emails with any third party or use it for anything outside the GDPR sphere.

The General Data Protection Regulation exists to protect individuals’ fundamental rights and freedoms, in particular their right to protection of their personal data.

There are many types of blogs. Some examples of the most popular types are:

  • Fashion blogs
  • Food blogs
  • Travel blogs
  • Music blogs
  • Lifestyle blogs
  • Fitness blogs
  • Do-it-yourself or simply DIY blogs
  • Sports blogs
  • Finance blogs
  • Political blogs
  • parenting blogs
  • Business blogs
  • Personal blogs
  • Technology blogs
  • Movie blogs
  • Car blogs
  • Bike blogs
  • News blogs
  • Pet blogs
  • Gaming blogs and many more. That’s quite a list!

You can also create a blog of your own liking, which can be something different from all other blogs in the world.

If we talk about car and bikes blogs, then you may post information, beautiful pictures, detailed specifications of the trending and upcoming cars from the diverse automobile brands.

There are millions of fans of cars and bikes on the internet, and your blog and blog post will target that audience and bring them to your blog.

These people who might visit your blog in search of what they’re seeking are known as traffic in the blogging world. Remember, you have to learn and apply search engine optimization to your blog to drive organic traffic to your site, as you are not the only one on the internet with a car and bike blog.

You know how immense the world of the internet is, so it may not be easy to guess how many competitors you will have.

If we talk about the lifestyle blog, then it can be a digital collection of the author’s interests. Whether it’s personal or public, it covers all the author’s talents and hobbies.

Moreover, it can also have a separate section of very similar topics, such as health, fitness, relationship advice, or travel.

Why you should start a blog

Up until now, we have discussed a lot about what a blog is and emphasized some valuable information every beginner or a person who wants to start a blog should know.

Now, let’s cover the second topic of our article. That is, why should you create a blog? Why should anyone start blogging? And most importantly, how can anyone make his or her online presence successful?

I am confident that you already have an idea why anyone should start a blog after reading all the benefits and goals we can get from blogging, but still, let’s go in-depth here and really find out the core reasons why should you create your own blog.

I know it’s a lot to take in and you may even have questions, but rest assured, together, we’ll make our way through the answers and come out better on the other side.

My goal with this blog is to make you an expert on blogging. So, are you prepared to continue with me? If so, let list the top reason for you to start a blog.

1. knowledge sharing, management and dissemination

Blogging is one of the best platforms to share and gain knowledge. It’s a universal fact that knowledge increases through sharing; I mean, how we humans survived until now right? This is actually true in every aspect, especially if you share your knowledge with like-minded people.

It is clear that most of your blog visitors will definitely be asking questions that you, through your blog have answers to, or in need of the information provided through the content on your blog or website.

If your blog is about technology, health, and education and is ranking high on search engines as well, the visitor who searches for short or long-tail keywords related to your niche will see your blog as a result. This is why organic traffic is the best traffic you can get.

As I have been working with many types of marketing to get traffic. I can assure you that the organic traffic has been converting at almost double the rate in comparison to other traffic sources. It’s amazing, isn’t it? Especially as it is completely free traffic!

Also, visitors coming from organic traffic have shown a higher rate of engagement. In other words, these types of visitors will likely enjoy reading your blog content, comment, and even share it with their friends and communities.

To keep your visitors returning to your blog, you will need to keep your blog updated with the latest content, information, and trends, so that your audience and followers keep on engaging with your blog’s content.

This keeps you updated as well, which is very important as you wanna be of course an expert or an authority in your field.

Gaining detailed knowledge over a specific subject or topic and always keeping yourself updated about the latest news related to your field is key to providing your readers with quality and up-to-date information – that’s how experts are made.

2. Family relationships, love and friendship

Blogs are like time machines. This may sound weird, but your blog ages with you.

You can maintain good records of the valuable or personal information you would like to refer to in the future. It is actually quite cool, Every time you write and publish a post, an image, or a video you will then be able to access it from all over the world where the internet is available.

You don’t have to carry books or albums with you wherever you go. You can switch your blog to private so no one else can see it except you. Blogs have the option of being public or private.

You can also give your blog access to your loved ones, and they will be able to access your blog instantly or let’s say after 10 years. I personally have a private side of my blog where I add records about my daughters and their important life moments through weekly blog posts, images, and videos.

I am sure they will love to see how good a father I have been to them when they are 20. Without going too far, blogs are actually like a time capsule. Really cool, huh?

3. Spark your creativity

Blogs can also be used to show your creative side. When it comes to creativity, a lot of people are using blogs to create their portfolios.

In fact, if you are a creative artist, blogging is one of the best platforms to showcase your creativity, not only to some people but to the whole wide world.

This is one of the easiest ways to showcase your talent and keep expanding your skills every day.

If you are not sure how to start representing your creativity, then trust me, as explained above a blog is the best way and the best option for you to unleash your ideas in a well-designed view. It also helps build confidence and more people will likely start to follow you and admire your work.

This is also a great way for you to also get more creative ideas from others. And hey, don’t be afraid of writing.

I promise you don’t need the writing style of William Shakespeare to create great content, get indexed in google, and gain an audience. Just make sure to use spelling software to keep your content free from spelling errors, contextual errors, and sentence formation efficiently.

Impacts of artificial intelligence in content writing

I usually use and recommend SEMRush artificial intelligence module and Yoast SEO plugin to help optimize your content based on readability, tone of voice, SEO, and originality. This way, your articles and blog posts will not only be engaging and fun for your target audience; but they will also be original and optimized for search engines to deliver that great organic traffic that all bloggers are working so hard to get.

Multilingual content writing

This is a good moment to mention that English is not the only language that converts the world wide web. you can also write in your local language.

And even if your content is not professionally written make sure your content is engaging and informative, so your blog can reach a large audience without boring them to death. Hey! are you still with me… lol

4. Build a thriving community

A blog does not always need to be related to business and making money.

If you are for instance, one of those whose family and friends live far away, then a blog, or specifically a personal blog, is the best way to stay in touch and let them know about your daily activities, your interest, and point of view.

It also makes it easy to invite them if you have any specific event or party, let them know the beautiful place you’ve moved to, and places they should visit. Your options are endless here.

I have honestly seen blogs with 10 years old debates that is still going strong. So why not create some interesting debate of your interest, friendly discussions, event or tour planning, and many more…

5. Motivate, help and inspire

“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people,” and that’s the reason you should always be helpful to others. It’s healthy and believes me you will live better.

Through blogs, you can help people going through a certain stage, phase, or specific circumstances, such as tension, depression, sadness, sorrow, break-ups, and many more.

I remember how my dear friend Rachel Shovelton helped me during some hard times with her blog where she narrated her tremendous story full of incredible moments. I really recommend that story, especially if you suffer from depression or anxiety.

In life, each person has emotional ups and down while some find it really hard to talk about it. others prefer to share their problems with other people, and more times than not they search for solutions to their problem on the internet, where people like Rachel create blog posts to help them and make them find a solution to their situation or problem.

So, in this way, a blog can work therapeutically for many people online. People get to know they are not the only one facing such kinds of mental conditions, problems or tough circumstances, which in return can make them feel better.

This way, without you knowing, you’re serving as a therapist, a supportive listener, and even a virtual friend. This is maybe the perfect time to mention that sharing is caring.

6. Personal growth

A blog portfolio has become a new trend and is really useful when it comes to getting a job interview. By building a professional portfolio blog where you add or post your recent projects and work you will be able to impress your soon-to-be boss with your skills.

Let’s look at an example: You are a professional wildlife photographer and worked on different projects in your past. For some reason, you are not getting any new projects to work on and of course, make money.

Usually is due to businesses not knowing about you or your skills as a photographer. Now, through a blog, you can create a professional portfolio representing all your work, experience, and skills.

With good optimization and digital marketing, you will soon be an authority in the wildlife photography niche.

Having an online portfolio blog could be beneficial in many ways. For starters, you don’t have to carry your work portfolio and files wherever you go, as you have the ability to access it wherever the internet is available. You can share your portfolio links with anyone you think has an interesting project to offer you without having a monkey stealing your wallet with all your records while working.

Believe me, this actually happened to me in the mountains of Gibraltar a couple of years ago.

If you are in touch with bigger employers who frequently hire a professional photographer, you can send them your blog link with your latest updates. This will increase the probability of you getting hired.

I believe you get the reason why making a portfolio or a blog representing your skills, talent, and past work is actually becoming a new and effective way of freelance finding jobs right?

7. Become an authority in your field

If you are an expert in some subject or topic or technology, that’s awesome, but what if there are many experts out there just like you or maybe more experienced than you?

Well, in this case, you need to do something to stand out.

So, what do you do? For starters, you can create a blog for self-promotion and build your personal brand online. It’s an excellent way to promote yourself and let more people know about you and your key areas of interest where you shine the most.

It will definitely help you to promote your credibility. Many experts use this strategy to promote themselves and gain great income as a result.

This will also help to showcase your skills and talent to potential employers, who may approach you for a big project, request your service as a freelancer or indirectly hire you.

Having a blog today is a very popular and attractive way to represent yourself online.

You can also through analytics and software such as SEMRush be able to understand your readers better and provide them with what they want. Anyone can visit your blog and approach you.

Maybe that very person leaves a huge impact on your life. This is how the famous video blogger Nas Daily (Nuseir Yassin) fell in love with Dear Alyne (Alyne Tamir). And until now they are still going strong.

So truly, anything can happen! Just do a good job and leave destiny and take care of the rest.

8. Rise and shine as an influencer

Raising your voice about any political issues, social issues, injustice, or any incident you’ve witnessed on a blog is gaining popularity and power.

As there are areas where injustice exists and the voice of the people is knowingly depressed, people raise their voices against various types of issues and injustice, such as bullying, racism, government-related issues, and many more.

Through this, you can make a difference in your own way as most of the political and social bloggers do. And remember, Blogs are today consumed as the third most trusted source of information.

You can also through blogging, bring unity between people who are against certain issues and try to resolve that issue at its best.

If your blog gains popularity and people start reacting to your posts and interacting with your blog, you could have the power to initiate a mass movement for people who demand justice.

You have a voice. Make it matter. Make it heard!

9. Create a community of like-minded people

A blog is the best way to connect with like-minded people. We have discussed this point earlier and also proved how a blog helps us connect with like-minded people. There are many reasons why you should surround yourself with or get in touch with like-minded people.

For example, when you are between like-minded people, you build a better support system. There will be people who will hold onto you and make sure you stay on your track.

You can also encourage them and inspire them to follow their dreams and achievements using the same language and inside jokes. You just connect better.

Having a good support system helps you stay on task and makes it easier to reach your desired destination. And who doesn’t want that?

Getting connected with like-minded people fills you with positivity and builds your confidence. You feel more comfortable and share your views without unwanted judgment.

It is also easier to grow your network through a like-minded audience.

Your followers will support you and help you stay away from negative people. Most negative people are not happy with their own lives and don’t want others to be happy.

Making a connection with negative people makes you discouraged and depressed, as most of them have a problem for every solution.

Apart from the blog, social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are also one of the best places to connect with people like you and start interacting with them and grow your audience in a fun and productive way.

10. Skyrocket your business growth, authority and visibility

If you have a company related to anything, such as providing services, a software company, merchandise, consulting, gaming or anything else, then it would be very beneficial for your business to start a blog of your own and work to effectively advertise your product or services on it.

You could create a blog category where buyers tell how happy they were purchasing your product or service. Whatever path you choose to take, whether you are into service or e-commerce business, make sure you write a killer piece of content to back up your business.

In a market where so much content is written every day, quality is key to grow your organic traffic.

A huge part of the population is internet friendly today and easily available online. In a survey, it was found that more than 50 percent of people purchase their product online after initially reading a blog post about it.

That’s a huge number! In the digital marketing world, we call these types of audience qualified leads.

Qualified leads

Qualified leads are the very best type of traffic you can get, as these types of leads tend to be closest to the buying stage of the sales cycle. For example, a person does a google search for a specific service, product, or some type of consultation and finds a blog post related to what he’s looking for.

He or she consumes and trusts the information found in the blog post and ends up clicking on the service or product link to finally end up in the purchasing site. This is a qualified lead as their need has brought them organically to search online and look for a product or service.

This is why authority blogs tend to earn a lot of money through guest posting or product/service marketing. You get the idea, right?

Knowing this, if you don’t have an online presence, you could lose a big chunk of quality traffic or qualified lead in the case of an e-commerce or service business.

Increase your visitors engagement

Overall, blogging is a great platform for advertising and branding of your product.

You can provide a detailed review of your product, its functionality, its specifications, the correct ways to use it, and many tips and tricks that could bring value to your product or service.

You can also request feedback from genuine user, which will definitely help your brand to grow easily.

Amazon for instance provides a product review where buyers can provide their experience and rate the product according to their satisfaction level.

It goes without saying that highly rated products in Amazon tend to do best of course.

You can also give a bit of information about your upcoming product or services or answering your customer’s queries, as retention and advocacy are both very important parts of the customer journey.

And which business doesn’t want to be successful in selling their products as well as having engaged and satisfied customers?

11. Turn your blog into a profitable business

You may have started blogging for any particular reason, but the following is the most popular reason why people do start blogging, and that’s the making money part.

I mean blogging is a very profitable business at least according to the top bloggers who are not shy to show their monthly income and success to their followers.

Every single person who wants to make money online tries out blogging at least once in their life.

Unfortunately more than half end up failing before the end of their first blogging year, but the other half do succeed and become an inspiration for all others working hard to make passive income through blogging.

Truth be told, blogging is a really popular way to make money online. It has grown by 12% since 2015. The number of bloggers in the USA is expected to grow to 31 million this year. Can you even imagine?

The way is lit. The path is clear. Whatever efforts you may have to put into it, believe me, the outcome is so worth the whack. I mean, the lifestyle of bloggers is just a dream come true.

What’s better than following your passion and making passive income along the way?

It is far from being the best monetization alternative out there, but for beginners, it is the simplest option as it does not require any particular amount of traffic as well as it is considered today, the biggest ad network in the world, owned by Google.

If your blog qualifies for Adsense, then congrats, place your ads on your blog, and start earning your very first passive income.

Diverse monetizing alternatives

If your blog does not qualify for Adsense and does not satisfy its policy rules and guidelines. Don’t worry, many other trusted ads networks can help monetize your blog just as well.

In general, all this money-making through blogging works only when you have really good traffic or a good number of visits per day or month because these ads networks pay you for each impression and click made by the visitors who visit your blog.

After you’ve succeeded to attract a significant amount of traffic to your blog.

Here in the blogging world we usually talk about traffic surpassing the 25K visitors per month, then you can register your blog with the big players who pay up to 8 times more money per click than Google Adsense. That’s something believe me!

Now, mostly blogging is a game of patience. So if you’ve just started your blog, make sure to work hard the first half-year to really provide quality and value to the web.

Learn everything you need to learn and make sure you complete my blogging Bootcamp and courses.

13. Create your own knights of the round table

It’s time to gather the knights of Camelot! Well, we may not be living in the era of Merlin but blogging is a very popular way of getting in touch and finding interesting and loyal people, either locally or globally.

A blog helps to discuss diverse subjects as well as spreading ideas and thoughts across the world, crossing all the geographical boundaries.

All you have to do is to open a good forum, chat or comment section and invite your audience or visitors to engage with their thoughts and points of view on a specific topic, no matter their background or geographic location.

If this works, you will see a lot of people engaging and commenting on their views.

You can ask them for their locality and start an interaction with them if you find it interesting.

This is also an excellent way to get to know people with different skills and experiences.

You could very well end up developing strong relationships with some of your followers and create your own digital round table of loyal and interesting friends.

There is no other profession in the world that offers these kinds of opportunities until and unless of course you are king Arthur. And this is my dear friend, one of the main reasons why blogging is gaining so much popularity. Why not give it a try?

A lot of people are moving towards blogging and are really working their asses off to excel in their blogging fields. This is also the reason it is becoming hard to corner any blogging niche of interest nowadays.

The level of competition is truly hard, and trying to dominate any of the popular niches, like technology, fitness or health requires a lot of guts, hard work, dedication, effort, and most importantly, patience! (and do not forget passion!)

Summing It Up

People start blogging for many reasons. Many bloggers are making good and passive income online, penning and documenting their experiences, thoughts, and views, sharing new learning and ideas along with skills, free gadgets, reviews, travel tips, and ideas.

We have already discussed many points during this article, but there is so much more. Nevertheless, we have established that blogging is hard and requires a lot of work and dedication.

Therefore, all the hard work and sacrifice will be so worth the effort.

To excel in blogging and make money along with it you really need to be passionate about the niche of your choice.

Whether it is small or large, each business and company has faced a huge loss due to the coronavirus pandemic. But still, we can say that the people who have chosen blogging as a career, the professional bloggers, are facing fewer losses in comparison to other professions.

Especially those bloggers who are working on health, fitness, diet, lifestyle, media, technology, exercise, Yoga or Ayurveda kind of niches have seen exceptional growth in traffic.

People are now more aware of their health and overall well-being, because of what’s going on. Of course, people have now more free time to surf online as they are staying long hours at home.

On the other side, it is worth mentioning that some niches such as travel bloggers are facing huge problems, as traveling is limited by the pandemic.

But luckily for travel bloggers, the passive income will still be generating money whether they work or not. And besides, there is always room for creative solutions.

Perhaps a travel blogger can come up with some new ideas such as visiting local places or camping in the nearby forests or just getting away to any interesting close by monument or holy place.

There are always interesting places to visit wherever you are in the world.

Is blogging a saturated market

Nevertheless, the blogging industry has indeed become more saturated as more and more travel enthusiasts are joining the lifestyle. Truth be told, travel blogging has been booming for each passing year.

Since successful bloggers share their success stories and monthly income publicly, more people are working hard to enter the travel blogging industry.

Whatever type of niche you decide to blog about. The competition is very competitive and many bloggers are facing big issues surviving the tough competition.

It is not profitable anymore to just open a blog and start writing based on your interest anymore. You need to be technical and smart with how you blog. You need to implement a smart digital marketing and user experience.

Having a well-developed and designed website will take you a long way. This is why I always stressed the importance of having a well-designed and optimized blog.
